Stainless steel shower wall niches provide an unbeatable waterproof barrier for recessed shelves in tiled bathrooms and showers. Fabricated from 2mm gauge 304 stainless steel they provide a highly durable solution to bathroom storage.

These rebated shower shelves have been designed to accommodate common shower accessories and consumables, the depth and height have taken a wide variety of shampoo bottles and dispensers into consideration. By incorporating this into your tiled shower you can avoid the clutter of shampoo bottles on the floor and the need to bend down to use them.

The stainless steel material provides a robust wall niche reducing the risk to traditional waterproof membranes with coverage and cracking or separation in tight corners on timber frame walls. The niche is fixed into place using timber noggins and countersunk holes. Waterproofing is then applied to the 50mm flange area on the face of the wall before tiling over the entire recessed shelf.
