Drainage Pit Grates
These drainage pits are highly adaptable, they can be installed in commercial or residential projects. Square plastic pits boast a wide range of drainage grates to suit the aesthetic and performance requirements of install environments. Grates have been load class tested for vehicle and foot traffic with heelproof options available for pedestrianised areas. The stainless steel wedge wire grate has a slip resistance classification of R11 and a total open area of 30% with individual open areas of 100mm2. This makes the Wedge Wire grate the perfect solution of pavements, pedestrianised streets and urban areas with lots of foot traffic. The tile insert grate acts as a sump / pit cover with a recess that a tile can be installed into. The grate provides a drainage path around the outside meaning only a narrow reveal is visible, this solution is ideal for residential courtyards and patios but can also be incorporated into urban planning zones. The cast iron grate provides a commercial solution for heavier traffic while still being heelproof.
